Founder, Mushroomology
Sustainable change happens at the community level. When one woman earns an independent income, something shifts — not just for her, but for everyone around her. Her daughters see a different future. Her neighbours ask questions. Her husband’s assumptions are quietly challenged.
Our initiatives cultivate sustainable change and empower communities through skill development and agricultural endeavours. Each programme cohort builds on the last — the women who graduated first are now training the women who enrol today.
Our founding district and the heartland of the programme. Kadipur is where Mushroomology began — and where the highest concentration of trained women and Champions are based. The ripple effect here is most visible.
Sultanpur district extends our reach into a wider agricultural community. Women here have shown strong adoption rates and several have advanced to Champion status within the first two programme cycles.
A district with a predominantly agrarian economy and high rates of rural women in informal or unpaid labour. Our programme here focuses on creating a visible, credible alternative income model.
Our most recently activated district. Dostpur represents the expanding footprint of the programme — driven in part by Champion-led outreach that preceded our formal entry into the community.
The impact of economic independence for women doesn’t stop at the individual. It spreads — through families, through social structures, through the quiet demonstration of possibility.

When a mother earns independently, her daughters grow up with a different understanding of what's possible for a woman in their community.

A Champion in a village isn't just a farmer — she's proof. Her neighbours see the income, ask how, and the programme grows through word of mouth.

When sustainable agricultural change becomes visible and credible in a village, it shifts what that community believes is achievable — for everyone.
